Meet the Artist

Neil Ferry

Hi, I’m Neil — founder of Donegal Copper Craft. After 25+ years in the construction industry, I discovered copper art and quickly became passionate about the craft. What began as a hobby in our family home has grown into a thriving creative business here in Donegal.

I now create handcrafted copper artwork for all occasions — from retirements and weddings to sports clubs and family crests. I’ve had the honour of producing bespoke pieces for Liverpool FC and several well-known public figures, with each commission crafted with care and meaning.

Today, I also run hands-on copper workshops across Ireland, giving people of all ages the chance to create their own piece of art.

Hugely enjoyable workshop

I have done 3 Coppercraft workshops now and really enjoy them. Neil is very knowledgeable and delivers the workshop in a very pleasant relaxed way with lots of help and encouragement. It's very satisfying to be able to produce your own framed piece of Coppercraft art. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for another workshop.
